“Not even close. Most prepared fruit juices contain not only natural sugar but lots of added sugar too. You’ll also miss out on fibre. For example, a medium orange has 62 calories, 12g of sugar, and 3g of belly-filling fibre compared to the 110 calories, 24g of sugar, and zero fibre found in your average glass of OJ. To make juices less sugar-riffic, pour half a glass, then fill the rest with water. You’ll be hydrated and healthy.”

“For as long as it looks appetising. In general, fresh-cut fruits visually spoil before significant nutrient loss occurs…some fruit loses as much as 25% of its vitamin C and carotenoids after 6 days of refrigeration, with cantaloupe and pineapple the fastest to deteriorate. So don’t buy in bulk and eat fruit within a week of it ripening.”

Grapefruit - A Surprising New Superfood: They might be a bit sour, but research shows that eating half a grapefruit before each meal over a period of 12 weeks can help you shed, on average, 3.5lb because of it’s fat-burning compounds. red grapefruits are the pick of the bunch for health benefits, because they have a higher level of antioxidants, which can help the liver break down fatty acids. That’s grapefruit juice all summer, then!

Frozen Strawberries & Yogurt FAIL!!!
This is what my strawberries dipped in yogurt looked like when they came out the freezer…I’m a little embarrassed to even post this…I’d have rather tried them dipped in chocolate instead, but hey I’m trying to be healthy here! You live and you learn eh?!
I think I’ll just try it without the yogurt next time because they didn’t take bad.x :)
So I just tried this…dip fresh strawberries into natural/greek yogurt and freeze…sounds great and pretty simple right? Wrong! Mine came out a frozen hot mess (if that’s even possible)!x :(
